1. OriginalLine
OriginalLine is the Nespresso's most popular line of machines which use their hermetically-sealed pods. They create espresso and coffee and are among the most affordable Nespresso machine options. They also have a wider variety of drinks and capsules than VertuoLine. VertuoLine machines are better suited to those who prefer larger drinks.
The VertuoLine makes use of modern techniques and specifications to deliver better performance than the OriginalLine. They offer a wider range of brew sizes including 0.85 ounces for ristretto, and 1.35 ounces for double espresso. They also offer a quicker process called centrifusion. It rotates the pods at 7,000 RPM to allow more water to pass for better extraction.
In addition to improving the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of capsules that can be reused and introduced an environmentally sustainable packaging system. They use an aluminium alloy that is 80% recycled for their capsules of coffee, and are committed to increasing the amount of recycled aluminium they use in future products.
The Lattissima Pro is one of the most efficient nespresso coffee machines available. It comes with a fast heating time and an LCD screen that allows you to customize settings. It also comes with a powerful steaming wand for creating a café-like foam and milk texture. This machine may not be as compact as other nespresso machines but it's easy to clean and has an open capsule.
2. Vertuoline
The Vertuoline is a recent version of the Nespresso lineup. It is the only machine to make espresso as well as coffee. It also comes with a built-in milk frother. This is an excellent choice for those who drink many black drinks but don't want the hassle of making each one separately.
Vertuoline machines have a different pod system than the OriginalLine line. This eliminates the necessity for a separate milk container and makes it a lot easier to make the perfect cup of espresso or coffee.
Vertuoline machines are better in terms of quality. They produce crema that resembles the dense foam found at a coffee shop, in contrast to the lighter Crema produced by the OriginalLine machines. However the OriginalLine machines still provide the best taste because they create 19 bars of pressure, which allows them to better extract flavor from the espresso grounds.
The newer VertuoLine machine uses a process known as Centrifusion, which spins the capsules faster and evenly than the Original Line machine. This increases the speed of the time that the water is infused and improves the overall quality of the beverage. It also allows Vertuoline machines use less heat which decreases extraction time and improves the strength of espresso.
3. Original
This entry-level Original machine is the perfect choice for those with small space or budget. It has a smaller tank and capsule container but still can handle 19 bar of pressure. This is more than enough to make the espressos and coffees most people buy Nespresso for.
The machine has a minimalist black design, and the top-facing buttons manage all functions from turning it on to rinsing or making a cup. This is a common feature of Nespresso machines and makes them simple to learn and operate.

If you prefer a traditional approach you can also opt to manually froth your milk.
